Devenu riche, Robert Freeman décide de quitter Chicago pour une ville du Sud des États-Unis nommée Woodcrest. Ainsi Huey et Riley, vivant avec leur grand-père, quittent le ghetto de Chicago pour se retrouver dans une banlieue majoritairement blanche, riche et paisible.
