Aux États-Unis ce phénomène explose ; la société américaine n'a jamais été aussi violente et les assaillants, jamais aussi jeunes. Ce qui, dans les décennies passées, aurait été traité comme un cas isolé est en ce moment un phénomène répandu. Qu'est-ce qui pousse un jeune de 11, 13, 15 ou 17 ans à commettre des gestes aussi violents ? Est-ce la faute des parents, des jeux vidéo, de la télévision ou de la société ? À la recherche de réponses, cette émission raconte les histoires qui ont conduit certains jeunes à s'engager sur la voie du crime et à compromettre leur avenir, car chez nos voisins du sud, c'est la prison à perpétuité qui attend ces anges déchus…
