Mandrin (1ère époque) Le libérateur (1947)

Deux orphelins, Patrice et Yolande d'Apremont, sont victimes de leur tuteur, important fermier général, qui se rend particulièrement odieux. Un gentilhomme au grand coeur, Mandrin, empêchera le mariage forcé de Yolande, contrainte d'épouser son vieux tuteur pour acheter la liberté de son frère.
